Swiss Alps: 1 - Us: 0 |
Once we got to the village we started hiking along the Fronalpstock-Klingenstock trail that would take us to a ridge with amazing panoramic views over the Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains (similar to the fjords).
Unfortunately after only few hours into the hike, the views we had seen online were the only actual photos we were going to get! We were literally in thick clouds and it seemed as if there was no way out of it. Bummer! The reality of spring in the Swiss Alps had hit us hard. But although it didn’t go as planned, we still had a good time and enjoyed the little we wereable to do and see- we just need to go back one day, obviously!
On a positive side, we had plenty of time back at home to do some barbeque and chat the night away- there’s no better ending to a day out in the mountains than that!
